2022 Nominee Lillian Stranic – Age is No Limit to Achievement!

Lillian Stranic saw a need in her community and set about ensuring that it was met- a need for older people from all cultural backgrounds to connect socially and experience the health gains that connection creates. Mobility challenges and vision loss have not stopped her. She has inspired people of all ages with her enthusiastic spirit and ‘make it happen’ determination! She has the support of local politicians, from Federal Treasurer Hon Dr Jim Chalmers, to State Member for Logan Mr Linus Power, to Logan City Councillor, Mr Tim Frazer. Most of all, Lillian has the love, appreciation and respect of her Logan West community.
