New Award Category

Link Vision is excited to announce the introduction of a new Award for the highly popular Blind Australian of the Year Awards, that of Youth Blind Australian of the Year.

2025 is the first year of the Youth Blind Australian of the Year.

Link Vision Chief Executive Officer Terry O’Neill said that the new Award is a logical extension of an event which enjoys a special place in the Australian events calendar.

Nominations are now open for the 2025 Youth Blind Australian of the Year, and people are encouraged to celebrate the achievements of an outstanding Blind Australian, aged between 15 and 21, by nominating them now.
