Nominations Now Open for the 2025 Blind Australian of the Year Awards

The Blind Australian of the Year Awards honour the remarkable contributions of Australians who are blind or have low vision. These awards recognise individuals whose innovation, resilience, and leadership have helped shape the business, government, health, education, and community sectors across the country.

Award Categories:

• Blind Australian of the Year

• Youth Blind Australian of the Year (new in 2025, for individuals aged 15–21)

• Employer of Choice Award (for organisations demonstrating outstanding inclusion and support of employees with blindness or low vision)

Nominations are now open and will close at 11:59pm on 26 September 2025.
We encourage early submissions, as nominations have already started coming in.
